The Iridium Latin America Prepaid SIM is tailored to provide the greatest value for Latin America satellite phone users working or travelling to remote areas or for emergency preparedness within Latin America. This plan offers a lower price with a base level of minutes to cover moderate usage during a six month period. This voucher will only work in Latin America and covers land areas and coastal waters up to 12 nautical miles off-shore. Does NOT cover Caribbean. See coverage map. The Latin America Prepaid replaces the South America Prepaid plan. When accounts for current subscribers on the South America plan expire, they are eligible to renew their account with the Latin America Plan. Current balances on South America prepaid accounts are not impacted and unit consumption rates for calls for Latin America prepaid accounts remain the same as those for South America prepaid accounts. The Latin America prepaid SIM only supports recharging with the same Latin America Voucher and is not eligible for recharge with Iridium standard prepaid plans. Current subscribers may recharge before their account expiry and their current balance will carry forward. |
