Tips/Suggestions: when replaced your original home button, please disconnect the battery cable and reconnect it, then reboot your iPhone, the finger scan function could be OK. Please test screen functions before installation! Connect all cables to logic board requires accurate positioning and balanced pressure application. Inaccurate positioning or pressing too hard will damage the shape of the connector and cause display malfunction. Turn on our cell phone to test function and display. As cables may pop off the connector, this can result in white lines or a blank screen when powering your phone back on. If that happens, simply reconnect the cable and power cycle your phone. The best way to power cycle your phone is to disconnect and reconnect the battery connector. When disassemble the screen, take care to pry up only on the cable connectors, not on their sockets on the logic board. Especially be careful with the home button cable when tearing down your cell phone, it's quite thin and easy to be damaged. Professional installation is highly recommended!
